open Notepad with administrative Privilege

Step 1. Open Notepad from windows’ start menu (right-click on menu item)

Choose yes when prompt for security

Step 2. When asked to confirm access, please select yes.

Open file dialog

Step 3. Open file

Type in hosts file path c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Step 4. Type in C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and click open

navigate to the end of file

Step 5. navigate to the end of file

Add one line of text and save

Step 6. add one line of text and then save

Access website as usual

Step 7. Visit staging server as if it’s online and published
